Two Charities benefit from Dublin Marathon 19 March 2010

Cheques of ?361 each were presented to "Children with Cancer" and "Chestnut Tree House". These sums were raised in sponsorship by local reporter Amanda Wilkins for her participation in the Dublin Marathon. The presentation ceremony took place at Seaford Golf Club during an evening meeting of the Rotary Club at which the members and their wives were entertained with an emotional presentation by
Anne Blight and Matt Callard of "The Starfish Project".
This charity helps people of all ages who are affected by speach impediments such as stammering. Further details of the work of this charity can be found on their website at www.starfishproject.co.uk.
