September French Market

On Friday 14th September, the French Market returned to Church Street, Seaford.
Early in the morning, Seaford Rotarians implemented the road closures in Church Street below Place Lane and West Street up to the car park entrance to enable the market stalls to be set up.
There was a fromagerie, a boulangerie baking fresh baguettes, croissants other breads, and a stall selling Paella and Tartiflette.
Other stalls were offering soaps from Marseille, onions, fresh garlic and smoked garlic, zebra tomatoes, saucisson, olives, handbags, wooden flower bouquets, hats and scarves and French posters.
French flags fluttered in the breeze attracting customers to the various market stalls.
Music from a stall selling vintage French music pervaded the air.
At the end of the day Rotarians removed the traffic barriers to enable vehicles to use Church Street and West Street again.
The next continental market will be an Italian Market in Sutton Road, Seaford on Saturday 3rd November.
