Mayor's Award for Seaford Rotary Club

EACH year all Seaford residents are invited to the Seaford Town Forum. This year the Forum was held on Tuesday 22nd May at The View at Seaford Head, Southdown Road.
The Mayor, Councillor Linda Wallraven announced the winners of the Mayor’s Awards as part of the meeting. The Mayor’s Awards are given to members of the community or organisations that have worked hard for the benefit of the town or have overcome great barriers.
Seaford Rotary Club President Mike Roper was extremely surprised but delighted to receive an invitation to be presented with a Mayor’s Award at the Seaford Town Forum. Mike gratefully received the award on behalf of the Club from the Mayor, Councillor Linda Wallraven.
Linda explained that she is particularly impressed with all the work our Club does with the youth of Seaford, notably the competitions we run, such as Young Musician, Young Photographer, Young Artist, Young Writer and Young Chef. The trophy will be displayed with pride at our weekly meetings.
